Dr. Joshua Paynich

Dentistry is the perfect profession for Dr. Josh. An as active member of the community, he enjoys spending his days interacting with children. Laughing and joking with them is part of his light hearted personality.

Originally from Montana, he became a dentist after relocating to North Carolina. While living in Montana, Dr. Josh grew up playing hockey, excelled in outdoor activities, such as rock climbing, mountain biking, and extreme downhill snow skiing. To compliment these physical activities, Dr. Josh also accumulated academic honors and distinctions throughout his many years in school.

Dr. Josh has a dedication to education, a commitment to the community, and a compulsion for great dentistry.

Dr. Scott

A North Carolina native, Dr. Scott grew up just outside Chapel Hill in Pittsboro, NC, where his father is a dentist. He has been practicing in Asheville since receiving his doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina in 2004. Prior to Dentistry, Dr. Scott studied medical anthropology at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. He also received a M.A. degree in Chinese medicine at John Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, and served as adjunct clinical faculty at the University of Washington's Harborview Medical Center. He spends his spare time with his family playing music or outdoors, on our area's whitewater rivers and trails.

Our Office

We occupy a state of the art facility dedicated to dentistry for children in Asheville, North Carolina. We strive to provide your child with safe, high quality care while being as green as possible. Our office is equipped with the latest dental technology including digital x-rays, advanced intraoral imaging, and paperless record keeping.
